Kumon; the modern day scam.

Let me start by saying, I have nothing against Kumon. To be fair I was a Kumon "scholar" for about a week when I was 9 and quit because I thought it was boring. My sister on the other hand has been enrolled since she was 5 years old; she is 9 now and doing really well both at Kumon and at school.
You might be like, your previous sentences proves Kumon is helpful, and that you're just a stupid clickbaiter but WAIT. Have we even considered Kumon's "key to success" or their "success formula" ? It is LITERALLY forcing the child to the same problems 200 times and by the 200th time they've "mAsTeReD tHe cOnCePt". Even a circus monkey learns to juggle blindfolded if you force it to juggle 200 damn times.
I'm not saying that Kumon is useless because it's not. It works even though the methods are pretty pointless and they kind of preach memorization rather than actual learning but what intrigues me even more is that they charge money for straight up paper booklets. Booklets everyone let me say that again BOOKLETS . Kumon Canada or where ever you have a Kumon Centre nearby, they charge you around ~ $120 for your child to enrol in their school; their booklet school. Maybe their booklets are good. Maybe I just don't get the Kumon "secret formula". Maybe their little booklets have some secret magic powered revealed through their secret Kumon font. Only thing here is that Kumon literally sell their damn booklets in a larger book, at COSTCO.

You mean to tell me that they're charging $100 a month and give out little booklets but you could just buy a larger book for $10? I'm just as confused as you are, let me tell you that. You know maybe you pay the extra $90 for some tenth/eleventh grade kid to mark your tenth/eleventh grade kid's work. By the words of the great DJ Khaled, "Congratulations you played yourself" parents; maybe you need to join Kumon.
In all honestly I'm still salty they didn't hire me .... I heard they have good pay. If you could get me a recommendation that'd be nice.
